Definitely! Some aliens out there can a do a number on the human system. And I might joke about it with Oshitari, but most human guys aren't lookin' to get knocked up by an alien. Women too but at least they know it's possible. There are horror stories about guys being lame and hooking up with aliens before they know how they procreate... Definitely don't want to end up like one of them. Not that condoms help all the time. There are some really funky reproduction habits out there in the world.

I love that show! Some of it's complete bullshit and lame. But some of it is totally real. You wouldn't believe the info videos they make you watch in certain courses at the EAA. I bet the nurses and doctors had to watch even more messed up ones.

I'm perfectly content "mingling" amongst my own species– I don't think that's terribly narrow-minded... Meeting and making friendships with other species is one thing... romantic entanglements is another...

Some of the reenactments can be more than a little traumatizing, if convincingly fake. And hm, I did, but only to a point. Once I was on-track for physical therapy, the life-scarring videos and lectures diminished significantly. One of the benefits of a "cleaner" medical career, if you ask me...
